14000 btu keeps my kitchen/living room combo at 70 while its 100 outside seamless install, easy wifi connect. Now Alexa controls our comfort settings. Amazon delivered a day earlier than expected and the unit was pristine and ding free. Very happy with the energy savings that my power company App is showing right now. We are currently 10 days post install.

This unit does the Job It's 98 degrees out and it still pulls kitchen and Family room down to 73. Amazing for a 110 volt unit..... Way better then the Portable I was using. ECO mode is nice. It shuts everything down as it should at temp. Wifi app works well The KwH feature is neat. Let's you track usage per day. I have read about the control panel issues. I hope mine holds up. But I like the unit so far..

Bought it last summer and already failing. I set the Temp with the smartphone app, and control board immediately resets the temperature to 86 degrees. The control board buttons are unresponsive. Troubleshooting instructions on the GE support website are superficial. I've followed the instructions. 1) Unplugging for several minutes. Does not fix the problem. 2) Opened the control board to clean contacts as instructed by website. This unit does not have a ribbon cable. It seems the control board went bad and I cannot find a replacement anywhere online. GE should be ashamed of itself for producing junk and selling it for $500.

Owned this AC for less than 2 months and now it will not turn on:not with the remote or the controls on the unit
